Depression and Suicide

When you feel depressed, you often feel overwhelmed, stuck, unable to face everyday tasks, and hopeless for the future. People with depression often feel there’s no way out of their depression and struggle to cope on a daily basis.

There are different types of depression including reactive depression, endogenous depression, bipolar depression and post-natal depression. I have worked with people with mild to severe depression and I can help you manage your depression and build resources around you to help you cope better.

People who are suicidal feel that their problems are too big for them to control. Life is too painful to continue so it is easier to end it rather than continue in pain and suffering. If you’re feeling suicidal, I will work with you to help you find reasons for living. I have been trained in Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality and I will seek to understand where you are at and we will work together to find other options moving forward.
