Social Anxiety Disorder (SAD) is one of the most common anxiety disorders. Social anxiety describes the fear, nervousness and apprehension that most people at times experience in their relationships with other people. But people who suffer from Social Anxiety Disorder have an intense fear of being negatively judged by other people and that they will do something in public that will be embarrassing or humiliating. Research has shown that CBT is one of the best forms or therapy to successfully treat SAD. CBT is not one method but a combination of various techniques that are chosen as part of a treatment plan.
